We always need help!
There are several areas we can use your help:
1 – With money
We have all the usual expenses of a business – utilities, insurance, association fees, etc., but our biggest expenses are the licensing fees we have to pay to bring you all the music that we play for your entertainment. Our total budget is about $7500 per year. Here are some ways you canhelp with our finances:
- Make a donation via PayPal – you can sign up for a recurring payment on our donations page.
- Contribute to our current GoFundMe campaign that is being used to raise money for our licensing fees.
- Sponsor a program – if you are a business, we will mention your business on the air.
- Send a check to KLOI, P.O. Box 342 Lopez Island, WA 98261.
- If you must shop at Amazon, designate KLOI to receive a donation from them each time you make a purchase by using the link below – but remember to shop locally first!
Note that we are a a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible.
2 – Volunteer
We rely totally on volunteers to keep our station running. If you have any skills that you think may be useful to us, let us know. We are always looking for new ideas for programs and people to put programs on the air. You could be our next radio host! Our parent organization GIVE (Gathering of Island Voices and Expressions) is looking for candidates to be on the board of directors.
